We had a really fun and eventful Easter weekend. It was really nice to have Luke home for an extra day. Joe loves his daddy! They have so much fun together. We had some good family time this weekend with just the three of us and some of Luke's family. Joe "helped" me do some cooking and baking, he had his first Easter egg hunt, and we even had a huge storm with golfball size hail! Maybe even bigger! It was crazy. Some parts of Midland have been declared disaster areas because of all the damage to roofs, ours included. Most importantly, it was fun to tell Joe what Easter is all about and read him the story of Jesus dying and being raised back to life. I'm pretty sure he doesn't get it yet but it is a very special thing to be able to share Jesus with our son and we are very thankful for that.
Anyway, below are some pictures and videos, in no particular order, of last weekends events. Enjoy!

Perfect golfball size hole in one of my newly planted Caladiums. Yeah, my plants and flowers got destroyed! Not cool.
Joe digging for candy in his loot!
Joe and Luke with one of the huge hail stones.
Luke and his brother Lee playing our new Wii.
I turn my back for one second!
I guess he likes my lasagna!
Joe eating breakfast with all his friends.
The videos above are of the hail storm and also Joe helping to crush Oreos for a cake for Easter. What a good helper he is! :)
